Eastside Food Co-op
This cooperative, natural foods store in Minneapolis embarked on a capital campaign, seeking funding from members to expand the store. To do this, they needed a campaign theme, logo and brochures to communicate their funding needs to their member-owners.
Based on the store’s existing logo and landmark carrot sculpture, we developed the campaign logo and theme, “Cultivate Your Co-op.” A series of campaign brochures used bright, inviting renderings of the proposed store additions to generate buzz and excitement about a larger co-op, directing users to the campaign microsite and to contact the store for further information about investing in the co-op’s expansion.
The campaign theme, logo and brochures that Windmill designed were a huge success for the Eastside Food Co-Op, allowing them to raise the full funding they sought and grow their Co-Op to include things like three new checkout lanes and a new butcher counter.
